Tribal community members had a chance to further connect with their culture with Huckleberry Culture Camp which was held the last week of August.
The camp, organized by the Puyallup Tribe’s Culture Department, saw many Tribal community members coming together for nearly a week in Randle at the Cispus Learning Center.
Whether they stayed in cabins or set up tents, everyone who attended had the opportunity to not only gather huckleberries, but participate in other cultural activities that included crafting and weaving.
