Our mission is to serve Puyallup tribal children and youth through a caring, accepting and safe community of native foster homes who focus on healing hearts, nurturing hope and keeping children connected to their culture.

Services Provided

PTCS recruits and licenses tribal foster homes (or community member foster homes) to provide care for children in need of out-of-home placement.

Eligibility Requirements

Foster home applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Have a source of income
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Adequate space in the home
  • Pass a CPS and Background check

We provide our caregivers with ongoing support, appreciation events and training opportunities.
