Elders Wellness Center and Assisted Living
Mission Statement
We ensure, to the best of our ability, the health, safety, and well-being of the Puyallup Tribe’s Elders. We do this by: Providing case management services for chronically or severe, acutely ill members; In home caregiving services for Elders who have difficulty with their activities of daily living; Payment and oversight for Elders in long term care; Emergency financial assistance for Elders; Medication delivery for Elders; Transportation to medical appointments or shopping for Elders; daily lunch in the House of Respect or delivery for home bound Elders; Monthly social activities, special events, and field trips for Elders; Daily exercise instruction and encouragement in our fitness center; Assisted living services in The House of Respect Residences.

Eligibility Requirements
Participant must be:
- Enrolled member of the Puyallup Tribe
of Indians. - Junior Elder: 45 years of age or older.
Elder: 55 years of age or older.
House of Respect Wellness Center Services
- Gym (45+)
- Pool & Jacuzzi (45+)
- Lunch Monday through Friday. Dine in, delivery (if eligible), take out. (55)
- Activities (Outings, Monthly Luncheon, Intertribal luncheons)
Elder Services Eligibility Requirements
Applicant must be (whichever is applicable):
- Enrolled member of the Puyallup Tribe of Indians;
- Elder: 55 years of age or older whose ability to perform the normal activities for daily living or to provide for his or her own protection is impaired due to a physical disability or kidney dialysis; or
- Elder who is 55 years of age or older and has a need for supportive companionship
