Puyallup Tribal Judicial System
Puyallup Tribal law established and defined the authority of the judiciary as a separate, co-equal branch of government. It consists of three separate courts – the Puyallup Tribal Court, the Puyallup Tribal Children’s Court, and the Puyallup Tribal Court of Appeals. All three courts operate within a shared court facility. The Puyallup Tribal Court is a Court of general jurisdiction.
Hours of Operation
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Open to the public
- Available via phone and email for general questions
- Available for filing/paperwork purposes via walk-ins e-mail for filings and appointments to pick up filing templates, pay fines, or file documents.
- Closed on holidays and may also be closed for inclement weather and other administrative purposes as needed. Please See Calendar for more information on closures.
Filing a Written Motion
Download the Civil Motions Packet- The Court is accepting documents with certificates of service via postal mail as usual, walk-in drop-off, drop-off appointment, or email to TribalCourtFilings@PuyallupTribe-nsn.gov.
- Please be advised that any legal questions must be filed via Motion with accompanying certificate of service (if applicable).
- Court staff cannot provide any legal advice.
